Ian Sun
An award-winning cellist and Boston Youth Symphony musician who enjoys performing for older adults.
Ian has played cello since age four. He won the 2023 MTNA New Hampshire Music Competition, the 2022 MTNA Vermont Music Competition, and first prize in the 2021 Crescendo International Music Competition.
He has performed at venues including Boston Symphony Hall, Harvard's Sanders Theatre, Boston University's Tsai Center, and MIT's Kresge Auditorium. He has been part of the Boston Youth Symphony cello section for two seasons and also enjoys performing at retirement homes.
